Tendonitis

Postby shaza » Sat Sep 14, 2013 12:32 am

what a pain! (no pun intended).

I have tendonitis in my left elbow at the moment - not to mention a very tight shoulder which I'm convinced is due to stress from work.

So just trying to rest the arm and not do much with it - which is the thing that is irritating me the most. I play golf, I go to the gym.... can't do the first, and have to watch what I do in the second. Even in the kitchen I'm finding picking up things or doing certain things makes it twinge.

grrrr - don't know what else to do really - I'm not good at the resting thing

Ibuprofen helps, but rest is the only thing that will really help. If you have access to a hot tub or whirlpool, a nice soak could help too.

Hope you get better quickly, Shaza. Can't imagine it's easy to rest a whole arm, specially if you can't rattle around in the kitchen and cook!
