Why do some in-laws feel the need to interfer?
I've been so nice and just mouthed off to hubs when his mom has over stepped her boundaries. She has no idea how our family unit works. Her section has made no effort to get to know our daughter and at last meeting, I guess, expected her to jump with joy at seeing them, NOT!
Last night, it hit me. Neither Livi nor I need to see them. If they come to our place, we will, but we aren't traveling anywhere to see them. The odds of them driving 1 1/2 hours to see us from the city they visit in our state is extremely slim. I have a better chance of winning the lottery that I don't play.
I had heard of people like this growing up. My grandparents were good grandparents.
